We thought the pipelines had been in operation since the November date of implementation. The last hard-headed "citizen of the shale" got his property taken by force in October, no? What's new and what's going on? The media that was making daily live reports from Carter Ave. last summer hasn't said a peep since. We took that to mean that the issue was over. Goliath won (one); little David was forced to "get behind the shale" (or get run over!)and got a zero on the scoreboard. When can we expect to see public signs saying "DON'T MESS WITH CHESAPEAKE" replace the old and disregarded "Don't Mess With Texas" signs? Maybe after the billboards with messages to conserve precious water from our lawns and vegetations finish running their course.
