I have had the privilege of working with Mr., Scoma on a number of issues over the years. His personal leadership is unsurpassed. He works quietly and without fanfare on many items that effect our daily lives.
Currently he serves on the Regional Transportation Council of the North East Texas Council of Governments (COG). The people of our area require leaders able to envision the future needs of our area and make sure we have a good plan to successfully meet those needs. Mr. Scoma has provided that leadership.
Currently he Chairs the Tarrant County Fatherhood Coalition which has been instrumental in coordinating 27 organization s to protect the welfare of our county’s children, holding parents accountable for their actions.
His efforts on the Northeast Senior Leadership Forum continue to reap great benefits to the elders of our community.
He has been an activist since before most us could spell the word.
I look forward to the opportunity to send him to Austin as our State Representative.
