The councilwoman's words are starting to trip her up, esp. when viewed in retrospect and based on facts. The facts that she's been working on "this issue for two years now" (WFAA interview) and that a state senator and state rep. had to get involved just recently say quite a lot in themselves. She's got much explaining to do--if she wants to be re-elected, that is (probably not the desired prize--the mayoral seat that Mayor Hot Gas now occupies.)
Have you been appalled by what you see on the "news" happening in the communities? Ever been disturbed by the lack of coverage or the lack of facts shared by the media? Who knows more about what is going on in your community? A reporter with a deadline or informed citizens? Have you ever attended a city meeting? Are you concerned with your current leadership? Ever written a Letter to the Editor that was edited beyond recognition? Or not printed at all? Let us know what's going on in your cities, help to educate your neighbors. The things taking place now are regional and affect all of us. Exercise your right to be informed!
