Go Haltom City. It looks like this municipality's "city fathers" are actually acting like caring and faithfull trustees for the rights and properties of "we the people". In other word, they still have their hearts and , ahemm, certain other human organs that reflect strength and determination. Unlike the spayed and neutered reps in FW who act like lapdogs for CHK and the dirty gassers. Way to "Dish" it, Haltom City!!!
That's this sociopathic corporation's new tactic: buy up properties so they don't have to pretend to be "good neighbors" since they will literally OWN MOST OF THE CITY. Check out the pages of properties owned by CHK, under variety of names to boot (why?), in the Tarrand Appraisal District site www.tad.gov.
Have you been appalled by what you see on the "news" happening in the communities? Ever been disturbed by the lack of coverage or the lack of facts shared by the media? Who knows more about what is going on in your community? A reporter with a deadline or informed citizens? Have you ever attended a city meeting? Are you concerned with your current leadership? Ever written a Letter to the Editor that was edited beyond recognition? Or not printed at all? Let us know what's going on in your cities, help to educate your neighbors. The things taking place now are regional and affect all of us. Exercise your right to be informed!
