You can't be serious. I finally got around to watching the vid and checking out the 912 website. The vid reminds me a lot of the 1939 Nazi rallies in Berlin. Ronald Reagan? Fox News? Glenn Beck? Liberal attacks? You call that non-partisan??? I don't need a bunch of wild-eyed neo-Nazi right-wingnutjob radicals to tell me the meaning of 9-11 or 9-12 nor do most of the liberals I know. This is a disturbing turn of events for this blog. Please tell me you aren't one of them. Just testing us, right? I'll pray for rain Saturday.
We didn't see any wild-eyed neo-nazi right wingnutjob radicals at the rally, though we did see some liberals. We also saw families. And veterans. Young and old. Black and White. Real people banding together to have a voice. It's too bad FWCanDo didn't have a voice there, many would have been interested in hearing what they have to say, regardless of their political affiliations (or lack thereof). When your group has a rally, we'll be happy to blog about it - we try and promote events that bring people together.
Have you been appalled by what you see on the "news" happening in the communities? Ever been disturbed by the lack of coverage or the lack of facts shared by the media? Who knows more about what is going on in your community? A reporter with a deadline or informed citizens? Have you ever attended a city meeting? Are you concerned with your current leadership? Ever written a Letter to the Editor that was edited beyond recognition? Or not printed at all? Let us know what's going on in your cities, help to educate your neighbors. The things taking place now are regional and affect all of us. Exercise your right to be informed!
